We know that children learn best through play and interactions with both their environment and social worlds and we encourage children to take part by exploring, making choices, discovering, creating and having fun.
Our focus is on wellbeing and a strong sense of connection, optimism and engagement to enable children to develop a positive attitude to learning. We work in partnership with parents to ensure each child’s abilities, ideas, culture and interests are the foundation of our program.
Our Educators work within the national Early Years Learning Framework, to guide our educational practice and programs. The aim of this document is to extend and enrich children’s learning from birth to school age.

Yes your child can attend on a casual basis without a term booking.
Families who wish to attend on a casual basis, need to complete an enrolment form for their child and pay a $100 membership fee.
Once you have done this your child can attend on a casual basis at any session during the year.
We run a school holiday program with at least one session held each week of the term holidays. During the January holidays there will be a session held the week before school returns.
Session times and days are based around staff availability and parent interest, and are opened for enrolment 2 weeks prior to the end of term.
If you do not enrol in the holiday program, you do not incur fees for these sessions.
We have inside and outside play areas, and provide a safe, stimulating and caring environment for your children to discover and learn through play.
Our outdoor playground is big! We encourage our children to run, jump, climb, play and just wander. Our outdoor equipment is suitable for a range of ages and includes a sandpit, swings, a grassed area, a cubby house and a bike path.
Inside we have 2 rooms that are set up with a range of play spaces. We offer children choices and we encourage them to take the lead in their play and learning. A variety of creative learning experiences are always planned and these are regularly modified to reflect children’s interests.
The best way to see our space is to come and visit us, meet our educators and see The Cubby House in operation.
